Mahima Nambiar adds warmth and emotional weight as Angel, the woman connected to Muthukaali’s past, while Sathyaraj brings authority and depth as the respected coach and village elder. Director Mathimaran Pugazhendhi balances sports, emotion and village rivalry with sincerity. SYNOPSIS :
In Mugavai Pattinam, a coastal village famous for sailboat racing, Muthukaali—a once-celebrated racer—returns after twenty years of self-imposed exile.
He crosses paths with Maari, a rebellious teenager who has been forced to flee the village following a violent incident during a local race.
Muthukaali steps in to protect him, but his return reignites old rivalries and disturbs the village’s existing power structure.
Saattaappuli, the powerful controller of the village race team, challenges Muthukaali to a high-stakes sailboat race.
With Maari and a group of inexperienced local youths, Muthukaali forms a team and begins training against overwhelming odds.
Saattaappuli uses his wealth, influence, and control over the villagers to crush their underdog effort.
On race day, 100 boats battle fierce winds and roaring tides as Muthukaali’s team challenges Saattaappuli’s dominance.
