Verdict: “A heartfelt premise drowned by predictability and lack of emotional depth.”
En Kadhale tells a familiar tale of a love triangle between a kind fisherman, a foreign tourist, and his devoted cousin. While the coastal setting and cross-cultural angle offer promise, the film never takes creative risks. The characters are one-dimensional, the romance unfolds predictably, and frequent song breaks disrupt the flow. Despite sincere performances, especially from Divya Thomas, the film lacks emotional grip and originality.
