A Bullet Misfire
Verdict: A suspense thriller that misfires more than it hits.
Naveen Kumar’s Kadaisi Thotta has an interesting premise—a murder mystery unfolding in a Kodaikanal resort filled with diverse guests. Radharavi shines as a retired military officer, adding emotional depth, while Vanitha Vijayakumar’s portrayal of the investigating cop falls flat. Despite a few unexpected twists, the screenplay is inconsistent, with forced humor and weak writing dragging it down.
Technically, the film benefits from Mohankumar’s atmospheric cinematography, but the background score is merely functional. While not a complete disaster, Kadaisi Thotta lacks the punch needed to be a gripping thriller.
