Chennai, February 1: After a week-long gap, Colors Tamil, Viacom18’s Tamil Entertainment channel, is all set to telecast live the second half of the popular South Africa’s premier T20 league, resuming on February 2 (Thursday).
Tamil-speaking fans are in for a bigger treat as they can enjoy the matches in Tamil, thanks to a select commentary expert panel led by Anirudha Srikkanth and Abhinav Mukund. Popular Tamil host Gayathri Suresh will anchor the show.
The second half of the inaugural season of Twenty20 League will see Joburg Super Kings, Pretoria Capitals, Durban’s Super Giants, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Paarl Royals and MI Cape Town battle it out for places in the semifinals and finals.
As many as 11 matches are lined up over the next two weeks, featuring international stars like David Miller, Faf Du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada, Quinton de Kock, Theekshana, Liam Livingston, Jason Holder, among several others.
The eight remaining League matches will conclude on February 7, followed by the semifinals on February 8 and February 9 before the ultimate showdown on February 11.
The battle begins with Durbun’s Super Giants playing against MI Cape Town on 2nd February at 8.30 pm, followed by Joburg Super Kings Vs Paarl Royals at 4.30 pm and Durbun’s Super Giants vs Sunrises Eastern Cape at 8.30 pm on 3rd February. Similarly, Pretoria Capitals will battle against MI Cape Town On 4th February at 8.30 pm, followed by Joburg Super Kings vs Sunrises Eastern Cape and Pretoria Capitals vs Durbun’s Super Giants on 5th February at 4.30 pm, at 8.30 pm respectively.
The most awaited match between Joburg Super Kings and MI Cape Town is scheduled on 6th February at 8.30 pm and the match between Pretoria Capitals and Paarl Royals is scheduled on 7th January at 8.30pm.
