The 25th National Speed Skating Championships 2025–2026, organised by the Speed Skating Federation of India (SSFI), concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from 20 states and over 2000 athletes across the country.
The event was graced by Dr. M.R. Soundararajan, IPC Cycling Special World Champion and Ambassador for Indian Road Safety Organisation for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, who attended as the Chief Guest. He was honoured by SSFI General Secretary Mr. S. Muruganantham and SSFI President Mr. Krishna Baisware.

This National Championship also served as the Selection Meet for the upcoming International Championship. The Team India selection list will be announced shortly, following which the selected athletes will represent the nation at the International Meet in Indonesia.
In the overall championship standings, Tamil Nadu emerged as the Overall Champion, securing 681 points, Karnataka Over all Runner with 104, Odisha Overall 2nd Runner and Andhra Pradesh Overall 3rd Runner and showcasing outstanding performances across multiple categories.
The SSFI extends its appreciation to all participants, officials, coaches, and parents for making this national event a grand success.
