The Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu Thiru. R.N.RAVI was the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation address and distributed the Medals and Certificates to the Rank holders at the University level.
The Proceedings were conducted by The Founder and Chancellor of VISTAS, Dr.Ishari K.Ganesh and the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr.S.Sriman Narayanan delivered the Welcome Address and presented the Annual Report of 2020-2021.
Four eminent Personalities, Prof.Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Director, Bhaba Atomic Research Centre, Thiru.S.Shankar, Popular Film Director, Thiru.Suresh Raina, a renowned Indian Cricketer and Thiru.Vikram Aggarwal, Chairman, Radisson Blu were conferred with Degree of Honoris Causa.
Prof. A.Jothi Murugan, Pro-Chancellor (Planning & Development), Dr. Arthi Ganesh, Pro-Chancellor (Academics), Ms.Preethaa Ganesh, Vice- President, Dr.P.Saravanan, Registrar, Dr.A.Udhayakumar, Controller of Examinations, Members of the Board of Management and Academic Council participated in the proceedings.
A Total of 68 Gold, 48 Silver, 43 Bronze Medals and 148 Doctoral degrees were distributed. Further 4011 Under-graduate Degrees, 583 Post – Graduate Degrees and 87 M.Phil Degrees– in total 4829 Candidates were awarded. The efforts and achievements of some exceptional students were recognised and rewarded with an endowment prize and on this occasion, Faculty members, Administrative staff, Graduands and Parents Participated in large number.

சென்னை, பல்லாவரம், வேல்ஸ் அறிவியல் தொழில்நுட்ப உயர் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தின் பன்னிரெண்டாம் ஆண்டுப் பட்டமளிப்பு விழா 05.08.2022 அன்று நண்பகல் 12.00 மணியளவில் பல்கலைக்கழக வளாகத்தில் சிறப்புற நடைபெற்றது. இப்பட்டமளிப்பு விழாவில் மேதகு தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் திரு. ஆர்.என்.ரவி அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராகப் பங்கேற்றுப் பட்டமளிப்பு விழாப் பேருரையாற்றிப் பல்கலைக்கழக அளவில் முதலிடம் பெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்குப் பதக்கங்களையும் சான்றிதழ்களையும் வழங்கிச் சிறப்பித்தார்.

இந்தக் கல்வியாண்டில் 68 தங்கப் பதக்கங்களும் 48 வெள்ளிப் பதக்கங்களும் 43 வெண்கலப் பதக்கங்களும் வழங்கப்பட்டன. மேலும் 4011 இளநிலைப் பட்டங்களும் 583 முதுநிலைப் பட்டங்களும் 87 ஆய்வியல் நிறைஞர் பட்டங்களும் 148 முனைவர் பட்டங்களும் என மொத்தம் 4829 மாணவர்களுக்குப் பட்டங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. சிறப்பாக செயல் பட்ட மாணவர்கள் சிலரின் முயற்சிகள் மற்றும் சாதனைகள் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டு, உதவித்தொகை வழங்கப்பட்டது.
இந்நிகழ்வில் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் இணைவேந்தர் (திட்டம் மற்றும் வளர்ச்சி) பேராசிரியர் ஏ.ஜோதிமுருகன், இணைவேந்தர் (கல்வி) முனைவர் ஆர்த்தி கணேஷ், வேல்ஸ் கல்விக்குழுமத் துணைத்தலைவர் செல்வி பிரித்தா கணேஷ், பதிவாளர் பேராசிரியர் பெ.சரவணன், தேர்வுக்கட்டுப்பாட்டு அலுவலர் பேராசிரியர் அ.உதயகுமார், பல்கலைக்கழக நிர்வாகக்குழு உறுப்பினர்கள் மற்றும் கல்வி அலுவல் குழு உறுப்பினர்கள் ஆகியோர் பங்கேற்றனர். சிறப்பு அழைப்பாளர்கள், இளம்பட்டதாரிகள், பேராசிரியர்கள், அலுவலகப் பணியாளர்கள், பெற்றோர்கள் எனப் பெருந்திரளாகக் கலந்துகொண்ட இந்நிகழ்வு வண்ணமிகு வேல்ஸ் கல்வித் திருவிழாவாக நடந்தேறியது.
