I feel honored to have awarded her the women’s empowerment award in 2018 on behalf of VELS University.
A truly humble soul with an even more humble beginning. Hailing from a modest beginning in Odisha, to being a teacher before entering state politics and now being the President of India is a clear indication of her hard work and dedication to serve the public.
I see this moment as an achievement to her visionary life and a breakthrough moment for women community and the whole of Indians.
