Velammal Nexus hosted a grand felicitation ceremony today at Velammal Hall to honor 416 athletes who have represented India and Tamil Nadu in various sports. The event celebrated the dedication and achievements of these athletes, reinforcing Velammal’s commitment to fostering sports excellence.

In a monumental gesture, Velammal Nexus announced sports scholarships worth ₹2.55 crores for the academic year 2025-26. Additionally, the institution will sponsor airfare expenses amounting to ₹30 lakhs for athletes representing Tamil Nadu at various national games.
As a highlight of the event, Velammal Nexus also felicitated their five best Physical Education Teachers for their exceptional contribution to sports development. These teachers were honored with brand-new cars, acknowledging their dedication to nurturing and mentoring young athletes.
This celebration underscores Velammal’s vision of nurturing talent and inspiring the next generation of champions while recognizing the efforts of educators who make these achievements possible.

வெலம்மாள் நெக்சஸ், இந்தியா மற்றும் தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு பெருமை சேர்த்த 416 விளையாட்டு வீரர்களை பாராட்டும் நிகழ்ச்சியை இன்று வெலம்மல் ஹாலில் மிகச் சிறப்பாக நடத்தியது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சி, விளையாட்டுத் துறையில் மாணவர்களின் பங்களிப்பை கொண்டாடும் விதமாகவும், வெலம்மாளின் விளையாட்டு முன்னேற்றக் கொள்கைகளை வலியுறுத்தும் விதமாகவும் நடைபெற்றது.

நிகழ்ச்சியின் சிறப்பு அம்சமாக, வெலம்மாள் மேட்ரிக் பள்ளியின் மாணவரும், சர்வதேச பேட்மின்டன் வீரருமான ரெதின் பிரணவ் பங்கேற்று பாராட்டப்பட்டார். அவரது சாதனைகள் மற்றும் அர்ப்பணிப்பு, இளம் விளையாட்டு ஆர்வலர்களுக்கு மிகுந்த உத்வேகமாக உள்ளது.
வெலம்மாள் நெக்சஸ் 2025-26 கல்வியாண்டுக்காக ₹2.55 கோடி மதிப்புள்ள விளையாட்டு உதவித்தொகைகளை அறிவித்தது. மேலும், தமிழ்நாட்டை தேசிய விளையாட்டுகளில் பிரதிநிதித்துவம் செய்வதற்காக மாணவர்களின் விமான பயண செலவுகளுக்காக ₹30 லட்சம் மதிப்புள்ள நிதியையும் வழங்கியுள்ளது.
இதற்குட்பட்டது, வெலம்மாள் நெக்சஸ் தங்கள் சிறந்த ஐந்து உடற்தகுதி ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்து புதிய கார்கள் வழங்கியது. இப்புரட்சிகரமான நடவடிக்கை, விளையாட்டு திறமைகளை வளர்ப்பதில் அவர்கள் செய்த அர்ப்பணிப்பு முயற்சிகளை அங்கீகரிக்கிறது.
இந்த விழா, விளையாட்டு திறமைகளை வளர்ப்பதற்கும், அடுத்த தலைமுறை வீரர்களை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்கும் வெலம்மாள் மேற்கொள்ளும் நோக்கத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.
