Kuzhanthaigal Munnetra Kazhagam – A Misfired Political Satire
Humorist Senthil stars as a senior politician in this political comedy that attempts to mix satire with humor by involving school children in a political rivalry. While the child actors deliver commendable performances, the film’s focus on the legitimacy of offspring and its inconsistent humor weaken the narrative. The sluggish screenplay and misplaced themes make it a forgettable attempt despite its unique premise.
Verdict: A few laughs, but an underwhelming satire that misses the mark.
