Arvindh Srinivasan’s Tharunam is a riveting blend of suspense, action, and emotional drama. Kishen Das delivers a compelling performance, balancing Arjun’s charm and brutality, while Smruthi and Raj bring emotional depth. Geetha Kailasam and Bala Saravanan shine in their brief roles. The film boasts visually stunning sequences, like a tense parking lot fight, and employs subtle foreshadowing, rewarding attentive viewers.
Despite minor pacing issues, Tharunam offers a satisfying climax and a rich exploration of guilt, resilience, and unconventional relationships.
