The Smile Man Movie Review

Sarathkumar’s 150th film, The Smile Man, follows a CBCID officer battling Alzheimer’s while hunting a serial killer. Despite a promising premise and Sarathkumar’s strong performance, the film falters due to cliched storytelling, inconsistent characterizations, and chaotic writing. Redundant flashbacks and a superficial portrayal of Alzheimer’s further dilute the narrative.

Verdict:

The Smile Man: A Promising Idea, Poor Execution

Short Verdict:
“A unique concept weighed down by predictable tropes and lackluster execution.”
