Thiru Manickam: Good Intentions, Mixed Results
In a quaint Kerala town, Manickam (Samuthirakani), a lottery shop owner, discovers a ₹1.5 crore winning ticket belonging to an elderly customer. His quest to return the fortune unveils human greed, family betrayal, and chaotic challenges.
While Samuthirakani’s restrained performance shines, the film suffers from exaggerated melodrama and predictable storytelling. Sukumar’s cinematography beautifully captures Kerala’s charm, but the narrative leans too heavily on clichés and emotional manipulation.
