Synopsis:
Four friends steal a ghost’s golden chain from Demonte Colony, triggering a supernatural conflict. A few survivors attempt to fight the spirit to save one of their own.
Review:
“Demonte Colony 2” successfully continues the original’s story, shifting the setting to a sinister Chinese restaurant. Director Ajay Gnanamuthu blends familiar elements with new twists, maintaining suspense and enhancing the film’s eerie atmosphere. Despite some predictable twists and repetitive escape plans, the film’s strong visuals and Priya Bhavani Shankar’s compelling performance stand out. Arulnithi’s dual role is solid but less central.
Verdict:
“Demonte Colony 2” offers an engaging sequel with strong visuals and performances, though it occasionally falls into predictable patterns.
