The inauguration of the Center took place on 19th August 2023 in Chennai.
The inaugural function was presided over by Thiru SS Palanimanickam, Honourable Member of Parliament. Lok Sabha & Former Minister of State for Finance. Thiru Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, MCA, Honourable Minister for School Education, Government of Tamil Nad was the Chief Guest.
Talking about the Center, Dr. Somesh Vanchilingam said, “We are following the vision of our founder to deliver better and easily accessible Neurology care for people.”
The facility is positioned as a comprehensive stroke center, providing tertiary level care. The unique aspect of the center is that it is led by an interventional stroke neurologist working in tandem with an interventional neuroradiologist and neurosurgeon.
Experts at the center, speaking on Stroke, said, “Effective treatment of Stroke can be done, if the person is treated within 6 to 12 hours of the onset of the condition.
