He was 78. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was known as a producer with good taste in stories and music. All the films he produced under his Yuva Chitra Arts banner were musical hits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He made films with great directors like K Vishwanath, Dasari Narayana Rao, K Raghavendra Rao, and Jandhyala. Though he produced less than dozen films, many of them are regarded today as classics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also played an instrumental role in bringing out a book about Telugu producers titled, \u201cTelugu Chalanachitra Nirmatala Charitra\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Seetamalakshmi\u2019, \u2018Gorintaku\u2019, \u2018Trishulam\u2019, \u2018Seetarama Kalyanam\u2019, \u2018Janaki Ramudu\u2019, \u2018Srinivasa Kalyanam\u2019, \u2018Jey Gantalu\u2019 \u2018Nari Nari Naduma Murari\u2019, \u2018Abhimanyudu\u2019 are the films that he produced on his banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interestingly, all his films were composed by KV Mahadevan only.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He passed away on Saturday at his residence in Neelankaai, Chennai.
