The store was inaugurated by actor Aishwarya Rajesh in the presence of Dr. Arthi Ishari Ganesh, Dr. Preetha Ganesh and Manisha Chordia. Kanakadhara Silks was co-founded by silk aficionados turned businesswomen Archana Abishek and Lavanya Sekar.
